Hi, dear friends—I’m Lilly! My foster mom calls me the best flycatcher ever. Seriously, I just catch them right out of the air! What do I do with them? Well, I kill them—nothing else. Leaving the cleanup to her is fine by me—I’m a vegetarian, after all. I’m growing up here surrounded by other cats and dogs, and it’s going great. But people… well, they still make me a little nervous. Don’t get me wrong, I do like them—but I’d rather keep my distance. Kisses and cuddles aren’t really my thing; I’d much rather just be myself. Together with the other kitties, I run and jump around here happily. That’s why it’s absolutely essential for me that there’ll be a feline buddy—a friend—in my future golden basket. Someone I can look up to a bit, someone who might even help me find people a little less scary. What I *do* dare to do? Accept treats. I’d almost commit murder for those! And wet food... mmm, delicious! I get to go outside into the cat run here—and in summer, I love lounging in the sunshine, it’s heavenly! Then I watch the birds, bees, and of course flies buzzing around me. But anyway, I’m getting sidetracked... there’s another fly flying by right now, so I’d better head off. Hope to see you soon! Hoi lieve mensen, ik ben Lilly! Mijn opvangmama noemt mij de beste vliegenvanger ooit. Serieus, ik vang ze gewoon uit de lucht! Wat ik ermee doe? Dood maken, verder niks. Het opruimen laat ik mooi aan haar over — ik ben tenslotte vegetariër.Ik groei hier op met andere katten én honden, en dat gaat helemaal prima. Maar mensen… tja, die vind ik nog een beetje spannend. Ik hou wel van ze hoor, begrijp me niet verkeerd, maar liever op een afstandje. Kusjes en knuffels zijn niet zo mijn ding — laat mij maar lekker gewoon mezelf zijn. Samen met de andere katjes ren en spring ik hier vrolijk rond. Daarom is het voor mij echt een must dat er in mijn toekomstige gouden mandje ook een kattenvriendje of -vriendinnetje is. Eentje waar ik een beetje tegenop kan kijken, die me misschien ook helpt om mensen iets minder eng te vinden.Wat ik wél durf? Snoepjes aannemen. Daar zou ik bijna een moord voor plegen! En natvoer... mmm, heerlijk. Ik mag hier lekker naar buiten in de kattenren — in de zomer lig ik het liefst in het zonnetje, heerlijk!
