Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 4 months

Lina was dropped off as a puppy in an animal shelter in Barcelona and later came to a private foster home. From there, she was taken over by the animal welfare organization and rehomed, but was then dropped off again and now waits in the dog pension Grisette for a new home. The reason for the previous drop-off was that her former owners were unexpectedly overwhelmed with Lina, and Lina did not feel comfortable there. Lina is an upstanding, friendly, and interested female dog. She has had a shifted jaw since birth, and the cause is unknown. Lina loves long walks, enjoys being outside, and learns quickly. She gets along well with both fellow animals and cats. She needs patient and understanding people who can offer her variety, mental stimulation, and an active daily routine. Due to her young age, Linda still needs support and training with the dog ABC. Attending dog training classes would be ideal. She would also be suitable for a family with children. You can read Lina’s story here (including additional pictures/videos): Lina in the Dog Pension Grisette. Lina is vaccinated, microchipped, and rehomed (in cooperation with the Animal Welfare Association Basel Regional) after a visit to the future home. If you would like to meet Lina and offer her a suitable home, please request the non-binding application form of the Dog Pension Grisette at the number 0041 32 462 3219 (if the answering machine is engaged, please leave a message and your phone number) or via email at info@grisette.ch. We appreciate your understanding if the processing of your request takes a little longer. We will do our best to give you a response as soon as possible. However, it may happen that many inquiries come in at once or that our resources are temporarily urgently needed elsewhere. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

What life with Lina – hat im April 2020 ein neues Zuhause gefunden looks like

Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

How do I contact the shelter about Lina – hat im April 2020 ein neues Zuhause gefunden?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzbund Basel Regional handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. Can I adopt Lina – hat im April 2020 ein neues Zuhause gefunden if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. What happens if Lina – hat im April 2020 ein neues Zuhause gefunden isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzbund Basel Regional early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lina – hat im April 2020 ein neues Zuhause gefunden and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
