Lulu

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Senior · 12 years

Meet Lulu, Beautiful Lulu is 12 years old and, sadly, has been through a lot of upheaval during her life before coming to us. After losing her first owner and then her second owner needing extra care and being unable to look after her anymore, Lulu is now looking for somewhere she can finally settle for good. She’s a shy girl who takes a little time to get to know you, but we’ve been told by her previous foster carer that she really does enjoy being around people. Lulu isn’t a lap cat, but she loves sitting beside you on the sofa, giving you the occasional head bump and happily doing her own thing nearby. After everything she’s been through, we’d love for Lulu to find her final and forever home where she can enjoy her retirement surrounded by love, patience and plenty of sofa time. If you could provide her with that stable home, please follow the link below to apply to adopt this special girl.

About Lulu

What life with Lulu looks like

Lulu is a senior mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch in United Kingdom.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lulu, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lulu?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lulu on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lulu if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lulu already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lulu isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lulu and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
