Die 10 jährige pekinesen Mix Hündin Luna hat ihr geliebtes Zuhause verloren, da ihre Besitzerin durch eine sehr schwere Erkranung nicht mehr in der Lage war sie zu versorgen. Solche Schicksalsschläge sind immer besonders traurig mitanzusehen - auch Luna versteht die Welt nicht mehr. Schon bei der Abholung fiel uns auf, dass Luna starke Schmerzen im Bewegungsapparat aufweist. Jeder Schritt belastet sie, die Rute steht nur noch steif auf einer Seite - ein Wedeln ist nicht mehr möglich, der Kot- und Harnabsatz ist nur unter starken Schmerzen und im Stehen möglich. Die Vorbesitzerin war bereits beim Tierarzt mit ihr, aber wir waren mit ihr beim Röntgen und CT, um der Ursache auf den Grund zu gehen. Beim Röntgen wurde festgestellt, dass sie unter einer Spondylarthrose leidet und das CT hat ergeben das sie einen Bandscheibenvorfall hat der leider nicht operabel ist. Sie bekommt nun eine Schmerztherapie und Physiotherapie.
