Lucy had great luck that our animal rescuer Dorel was at the right place at the right time. He discovered the small dog family on a busy street while temperatures climbed to nearly 40 degrees. For Dorel it was immediately clear that the mother dog and her puppies did not have a chance there. He quickly took the family to safety, so they can now be cared for in our shelter and wait for their chance at a better life. Lucy is about 2 years old, approximately 50 cm tall and a beautiful female with long soft black fur. Despite her own difficult situation she has lovingly taken care of her puppies and shows every day what a caring dog mom she is. Characteristically Lucy is a gentle and loving dog. She is friendly to people but initially somewhat submissive. She enjoys attention and affection, sometimes needing a moment to warm up. It's clear that she likes to please and avoids conflicts. Currently she lives not only with her five puppies but also shares her area with two young dogs. This works without problems. Lucy has not yet been tested with adult dogs but does not seem to have any difficulties with them. We are sure that Lucy will flourish again in a family of her own. She is still young, eager to learn and has her whole life ahead of her. Now all she needs is a home where she can finally be the center of attention. After a positive preliminary check Lucy can travel to her new life spayed, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-free and with an EU pet passport against a deposit fee. Many thanks to Ines Y! Luzy hatte großes Glück, dass unser Tierschützer Dorel zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort war. Er entdeckte die kleine Hundefamilie an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, während die Temperaturen auf nahezu 40 Grad kletterten. Für Dorel war sofort klar, dass die Mutterhündin und ihre Welpen dort keine Chance hatten. Kurzerhand nahm er die Familie mit in Sicherheit, sodass sie nun in unserem Shelter versorgt werden und auf ihre Chance auf ein besseres Leben warten dürfen. Luzy ist etwa 2 Jahre alt, ca. 50 cm groß und eine wunderschöne Hündin mit langem, weichem schwarzem Fell. Trotz ihrer eigenen schwierigen Situation hat sie sich liebevoll um ihre Welpen gekümmert und zeigt jeden Tag, was für eine fürsorgliche Hundemama sie ist. Charakterlich ist Luzy eine sanfte und liebevolle Hündin. Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie sich freundlich, anfangs jedoch noch etwas unterwürfig. Sie genießt Aufmerksamkeit und Zuwendung, braucht manchmal aber einen kleinen Moment, um aufzutauen. Man merkt ihr an, dass sie gerne gefallen möchte und Konflikten lieber aus dem Weg geht. Aktuell lebt sie nicht nur mit ihren fünf Welpen zusammen, sondern teilt ihren Bereich auch mit zwei Junghunden. Das funktioniert problemlos. Mit erwachsenen Hunden konnte Luzy bislang noch nicht getestet werden, allerdings macht sie keineswegs den Eindruck, Schwierigkeiten mit Artgenossen zu haben. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Luzy in einer eigenen Familie noch einmal richtig aufblühen wird. Sie ist noch jung, lernfreudig und hat ihr ganzes Leben noch vor sich. Nun fehlt ihr nur noch ein Zuhause, in dem sie endlich selbst im Mittelpunkt stehen darf. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle kann Luzy gegen eine Schutzgebühr kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in ihr neues Leben reisen. Lieben Dank an Ines Y.!
