He is a dog with an extremely gentle and balanced temperament. On walks, he behaves perfectly: he ignores street traffic and passes by other dogs with complete indifference. In interactions with people, he is loving and calm, although he may feel some mild stress during the first contact with new people. Merino is an attentive student – he already knows commands such as "sit", "lie down" or "paw" and gladly cooperates in training with targeting. He only requires attention when eating, as he can assertively signal that he doesn't like it when something is taken directly from his mouth.
