Molli – 10 kilos of pure silliness, charm, and joie de vivre on four paws 🖤. .fusion-body .fusion-builder-column-324 > .fusion-body .fusion-flex-container .fusion-imageframe.imageframe-37 img{aspect-ratio:1 / 1;object-position:35% 45%;} .fusion-body .fusion-builder-column-325 > Location: Animal shelter in Bosanski Brod, Bosnia and Herzegovina Date of birth: approx. Molli enters a room and suddenly makes everyone smile. 😄 With her funny floppy ears, short little legs, cheeky terrier gaze, and that unmistakable permanent grin, she looks as if someone had created a tiny goblin and accidentally given it a dog’s body. And that’s exactly how she is. Molli was rescued from the street as a tiny puppy and has been living in the shelter ever since. While other dogs come and go, she’s still waiting for someone to finally recognize what a treasure she is—every single day cheerfully hopping around the place. In fact, Molli has everything you could wish for: She’s cuddly, playful, curious, and always ready for the next little adventure. Whether it’s a sniffing walk, a stroll, exploring the world together, or just snuggling on the sofa—what matters most is that she gets to be there. At about 8 months old, Molli is right in the middle of the most wonderful phase of being a young dog. Her motto could be summed up like this: “Oh, what’s that? Can I sniff it? And that? And that over there too?” 🤭 We suspect Molli might be a terrier mix—and with that comes a good dose of cleverness, humor, and a spirit of discovery. Terriers don’t just want to go for walks; they also want to use their brains. Nose games, little search tasks, trick training, or exciting outings would probably excite Molli at least as much as treats. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves playing with her peers. Right now, we don’t know yet how she’d get along with cats—but we’d love to find out! At about 38 cm in shoulder height and weighing around 10 kg, Molli also has the perfect “always-with-me” size. Not too big, not too small—just right for people looking for a handy companion for everyday life and adventures. And then there’s her look. That look that simultaneously asks: “Do you maybe have a treat?” “Can I jump onto your lap?” “Do you want to be best friends?” 🥹 Molli has been waiting for a family all her young life. Maybe she’s waiting just for you. If you’re looking for a dog who makes every day a little brighter, you absolutely must meet Molli. .fusion-body .fusion-button Interested in adopting? About Molli

What life with Molli looks like

Molli is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Nordic Strays e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Nordic Strays e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Nordic Strays e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Nordic Strays e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
