Mörkö is a young, two-year-old long-haired tabby cat who arrived at the shelter with two other cats at the end of April. When she arrived, Mörkö was underweight, shy, and suffering from ear infections. Thanks to good feeding, her weight has risen almost to a normal level, the ear infections have been treated, a couple of ticks have been removed during veterinary visits, and a flea collar has been applied responsibly. Mörkö is still very shy and spends most of the day hiding behind the box, but the cat siblings and playmates are beginning to interest her. Mörkö has been diagnosed with diabetes and has mild, intermittent appetite loss, which is being managed with her diet. Both of them require ongoing annual veterinary follow-up. Mörkö on nuori, muutaman vuoden ikäinen, pitkäkarvainen poikakissa, joka tuli yhdistykselle kahden muun kissan kanssa huhtikuun lopussa. Tullessaan Mörkö oli alipainoinen, takkuinen ja kärsi korvatulehduksesta. Nyt paino on noussut hyvän ruokahalun ansiosta hienosti lähes normaaliin lukemiin, korvavaivat saatiin hoidettua, takkujakin on selvitelty pariin otteeseen eläinlääkärikäyntien yhteydessä ja hiekkalaatikko otettu suvereenisti haltuun. Mörkö on edelleen erittäin arka ja viettää suurimman osan päivästä piilotellen laatikoston takana, mutta kissakaverit ja lelut alkavat pikkuhiljaa kiinnostaa.
