Sommige katten horen gewoon bij elkaar… en dat is bij Odette en Nand niet anders. Odette is een echte mama in hart en nieren. Vanaf de eerste dag zorgde ze met heel veel liefde voor haar vijf kittens. Ze hield hen nauwlettend in de gaten, gaf hen de ruimte om groot te worden, maar stond altijd klaar wanneer één van haar kleintjes haar nodig had. Ook nu haar kittens groter zijn, blijft haar kleine Nand haar bijzondere aandacht krijgen. En klein… dat is Nand ondertussen eigenlijk al lang niet meer. Hij is bijna groter dan mama zelf! Toch blijft Odette hem goed in de gaten houden. Hoort ze hem ergens roepen? Dan staat mama meteen paraat. Odette is ondertussen zelf ook steeds meer opengebloeid. Een echte knuffelkat is ze niet, maar ze vindt het heerlijk om in de buurt te zijn. Ze laat zich graag zien, houdt de gebeurtenissen rondom haar goed in het oog en laat met haar gezellige aanwezigheid weten dat ze er is. Toen de vier kleine kittens van Fleur ook mee op avontuur gingen in huis , nam Odette ook zonder aarzelen haar rol als babysit op zich. Ze houdt de kleintjes mee in de gaten en laat hen steeds vaker toe. Al blijft Odette wel een dame die haar vertrouwen niet zomaar aan iedereen geeft. Ze heeft tijd nodig om nieuwe katten en nieuwe situaties te leren kennen, maar wie haar die tijd geeft, ontdekt steeds meer van haar mooie karakter. En dan hebben we Nand… wat is hij veranderd! Waar hij vroeger graag dicht bij mama bleef en wat meer tijd nodig had om zijn eigen weg te vinden, is hij ondertussen helemaal opengebloeid tot een speelse, aanwezige en avontuurlijke jongeman. Nand gaat inmiddels geen avontuur meer uit de weg. Sterker nog: hij heeft er ondertussen maar liefst vier nieuwe speelkameraadjes bij gekregen. De kittens van Fleur zijn helemaal zijn ding en Nand neemt ze maar al te graag mee op sleeptouw. Samen ontdekken, spelen, rondrennen en kattenkwaad uithalen… daar wordt hij duidelijk heel gelukkig van. Toch blijft er één ding onveranderd: zijn liefde voor mama. De dagelijkse eetmomentjes bij Odette zijn nog steeds belangrijk voor hem. Even terug naar mama, even genieten van haar nabijheid en daarna weer vrolijk op avontuur. Odette en Nand zijn dan ook een bijzonder duo geworden. Ze hebben allebei hun eigen karakter, maar hun band is duidelijk aanwezig. Daarom willen we hen graag samen hun forever home zien vinden. Ze zoeken een gezin dat begrijpt dat Odette wat tijd nodig heeft om volledig vertrouwen te geven, maar dat ze ondertussen wel graag deel uitmaakt van het dagelijkse leven. En natuurlijk een thuis waar Nand voldoende ruimte krijgt om te spelen, ontdekken en zijn avontuurlijke zelf te zijn. Misschien zijn zij wel het duo dat bij jullie gezin ontbreekt?
