adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Neele has found her home! Her story: The enchanting young female dog brings not only a particularly cute trademark with her, but also a lot of joy and curiosity. Despite her not-so-easy start in life, Neele is cheerful, open, and ready to explore the world. Together with her mom Paola and her siblings Ho’olana, Berry, Annabellie, Cupcake, Truffle, and Liah, Neele was found in an abandoned house. One of the puppies unfortunately did not make it under the harsh conditions. How beautiful it is to see how carefree and people-oriented Neele is today. Neele likes people very much. She enjoys attention and cuddles and would like to be everywhere. With other dogs, she shows herself to be well-mannered, and cats have not yet been tested. Typical puppy, she is playful, curious, and always ready for small adventures. Currently, Neele is about 10 weeks old and weighs around 4 kg. When she grows up, she is expected to reach a larger medium size like her mom. Visually, Neele is a real stunner: Her dark, shiny fur is wonderfully complemented by her two sparkling white paws – as if she had put on white socks. This sweet detail makes her unmistakable and regularly causes enchanted glances here in Romania. Now, Neele wants to learn the big dog ABC and explore the world together with her people. For that, she is looking for a home with patience, loving consistency, and joy in accompanying a young dog as it grows. Like with all young dogs, puberty will also knock on Neele's door at some point – a time when it is often tested how serious rules are meant. With clarity, humor, and heart, she will surely master this phase. A visit to dog training classes, many positive experiences, and sufficient quiet phases will help her develop into a balanced and confident female dog. Starting from early February, Neele – after a positive Neele will then be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and will of course bring her EU pet passport. Who would like to give this little paw-capture a loving home and accompany her on her life journey? Neele would also be very happy to have a foster home as a stepping stone to a new life. Many thanks Fam. Friedl! You gave Neele her name! As of: 09.01.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Fam. Friedl! Ihr habt Neele ihren Namen geschenkt! Stand: 09.01.2026

About Neele

What life with Neele looks like

Neele is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Neele, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Neele?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Neele on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Neele if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Neele already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Neele isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Neele and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
