Nero was acquired by his previous owners thoughtlessly and carelessly, and it quickly became clear that they had no time for him and were unable to meet his needs or provide him with an appropriate home. Nero is a typical Akita dog (currently in his puberty phase). He weighs 35kg and stands 66cm at the shoulder. He is intelligent, determined, and playful, and shows no aggression towards fellow animals when outdoors. However, when playtime gets heated, he can clearly demonstrate that he is the boss. At home, he is calm and balanced. When human visitors come, he is joyfully welcoming. Nero knows all the important basic commands, and he is super pleasant and attentive on the leash. Due to his hunting instinct, Nero is not an outdoor cat. Nero needs a home with people who have long-term experience with demanding dog breeds (such as Huskies, herding dogs, Rottweilers, etc.). His new people should have a lot of time for him and be empathetic and patient. With some sympathy, he could also be a second dog to a confident, spayed or neutered female dog (at least 2-3 years old). Children should be dog-experienced and responsible (ideally at least 14 years old) and be able to handle dogs appropriately. Nero is incompatible with cats. Nero is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be rehomed for an adoption fee of CHF 650.–.

Nero wurde von seinen damaligen Halter unüberlegt und leichtfertig angeschafft und es stellte sich schnell heraus, dass sie für ihn gar keine Zeit haben und seinen Bedürfnissen nicht gerecht werden und ihm kein artgerechtes Zuhause bieten können. Nero ist ein typischer Akita Hund (aktuell in der Pubertätsphase). Er ist 35kg schwer und hat eine Schulterhöhe von 66cm. Er ist intelligent, zielstrebig und verspielt und zeigt draussen keine Aggressionen Artgenossen gegenüber. Heizt sich das Spielen aber auf, dann kann er auch klar zeigen, dass er der Chef ist. Zuhause ist er ruhig und ausgeglichen. Kommt menschlicher Besuch, wird dieser freudig empfangen. Nero kennt alle wichtigen Grundkommandos und an der Leine zeigt er sich super angenehm und aufmerksam. Aufgrund seines Jagdtriebes ist Nero kein Freigänger. Nero brauch ein Zuhause bei Menschen mit langjähriger Erfahrung mit anspruchsvollen Hunderassen (wie zum Beispiel Huskys, Herdenschutzhunde, Rottweiler u.a.). Seine neuen Menschen sollten viel Zeit für ihn haben und Einfühlungsvermögen sowie Geduld aufbringen. Bei Sympathie könnte er auch als Zweithund zu einer souveränen kastrierten/sterilisierten Hündin (mindestens 2-3 Jahre alt) ziehen.
