Adopt Notfall freundliche Sucki

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Emergency – Sucki Seeks a Loving New Home Still with her current family in 28857 Syke, Sucki originally came from Romania and tragically entered the world in a killing station there. Fortunately, she was saved at four months old and was then able to travel to Germany. Due to health limitations caused by allergies, Sucki must sadly leave her current home. Now, a new loving home is being sought for her. Sucki is a friendly, sensitive female dog who values the company of her people very much. She enjoys walks together, quiet moments, and in general, time with her familiar trusted people. At home, Sucki watches the house and yard, but still enjoys a friendly visitor. In the mornings, she likes to sleep in, but otherwise is very agile and enjoys learning new things. Sucki knows cats and shows no pronounced hunting behavior. Additionally, she can easily travel in the car, can be left alone at home for a long time (of course, this must be relearned in the new home), and destroys nothing in the house – except her toys. Towards other dogs, Sucki shows friendliness after a short get-to-know-you period and plays with them. Furthermore, she is easily recallable – not always immediately, but she will come. For Sucki, we wish for a quiet and considerate home where she receives ample running room and mental stimulation. As Sucki is a sensitive female dog, it is important that her new trusted people can offer her security and a quiet everyday life without a lot of hustle and bustle. If children are present, they should be at least 14 years old. Age: 08.05.2023 (estimated) Likes children: from 14 years old Compatible with cats: yes Compatible with other dogs: yes Location: 28857 Syke Pairs or single individuals, small families with older children, aspiring dog owners with or without an existing dog People who live in tune with nature, preferably with a garden Do you want to give Sucki a new home? About Notfall freundliche Sucki

What life with Notfall freundliche Sucki looks like

Notfall freundliche Sucki is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Free Dogs - Vergessene Tiere in Not e.V. in Großefehn.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Notfall freundliche Sucki, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Notfall freundliche Sucki?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Free Dogs - Vergessene Tiere in Not e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Notfall freundliche Sucki on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Notfall freundliche Sucki if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Free Dogs - Vergessene Tiere in Not e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Notfall freundliche Sucki already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Notfall freundliche Sucki isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Free Dogs - Vergessene Tiere in Not e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Notfall freundliche Sucki and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
