adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Perwoll is a gentle, very sensitive female dog whose history is marked by uncertainty and hardships. Her past is unknown, but she was brought to the Public Shelter in Baia Mare by dogcatchers. Since then, she has lived there withdrawn in her own small world, observing and being cautious—learning that distance means safety. Perwoll is approximately 4 years old and belongs to the medium-sized dogs, standing about 50 cm at the shoulder. Her predominantly white fur with light brown markings, her special sweet underbite, and her facial markings make her a very attractive appearance. Her dark eyes, which observe their surroundings attentively and cautiously, are particularly noticeable, showing a great deal of sensitivity. Despite her great uncertainty, Perwoll has made some beautiful progress recently. She is still not approachable and keeps a distance from people, but her curiosity is slowly growing. Now she comes out of her hiding and shows interest, especially when there are treats. She can be enticed a little and will accept food cautiously. These small steps clearly show that she is ready to develop further—at her own pace and without pressure. With other dogs, Perwoll is compatible and follows their lead, which can give her additional security. Overall, she remains a very cautious female dog that needs time, patience, and understanding. A life in a house is probably unknown to Perwoll. Everyday things like house cleanliness, leash walking, and fixed routines must be learned by her. Everything will be new to her. With calm, loving, and consistent guidance, she can develop safety step by step. Positive working dog training classes can later support her when she is ready to open up further. For Perwoll, we wish for a very sensitive home with experienced people who can handle insecure dogs or are willing to take that on. She does not need pressure or expectations but time, peace, and people who accept her as she is. Perwoll longs for a place where she can feel safe and slowly learn that closeness can also be beautiful. We would also be very happy about a foster home, as it would help her take the first step out of the shelter. Perwoll travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and possesses an EU-Animal Passport. After positive Perwoll thanks Ker W! You have given Perwoll her name and thus a personal identity. Many thanks Monika K.! You support Perwoll with a monthly sponsorship! Date: .29.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Perwoll

What life with Perwoll looks like

Perwoll is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Perwoll, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Perwoll?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Perwoll on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Perwoll if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Perwoll already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Perwoll isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Perwoll and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
