Petri is a lively young pup who, along with his brother Romi, had a difficult start. The two were left as small pups in the rain at a worksite and were luckily found and brought to safety in time. Currently, Petri resides on the grounds of a friend of rescuer Matild, where he waits with his brother Romi for a loving home. Romi is also listed for adoption on our website. Petri is the brown pup of the duo and is expected to grow into a small dog of about 25–35 cm in height. Additionally, he has a curious and friendly personality. Like many young dogs, he loves to play, explore his environment, and learn new things. In April 2026, our volunteers went to Romania. At that time, Petri and Romi had just been found and accommodated in the shelter a few days earlier. From the first contact, they were loving, curious, and very fond of all the attention. With their cute snouts and soft fur, they immediately captured the hearts of the volunteers. He also gets along well with other dogs and visibly enjoys attention and sociability. Of course, he still has much to learn, but with the right guidance, he will grow into a wonderful family dog. You can see that Petri is still at the beginning of his life. That’s why he deserves to grow up in a warm home and not in a shelter. He has all the chances ahead of him and is looking for people who will give him love, safety, and guidance as he continues to explore the world. Starting June 11, Petri is allowed to travel. He is ready for the next step: his own home where he can grow up safely, get hugs, and never be left behind again. Petri is een vrolijke jonge pup die samen met zijn broertje Romi een moeilijke start heeft gehad. De twee werden als kleine pups achtergelaten in de regen bij een werkplek en gelukkig op tijd gevonden en in veiligheid gebracht. Inmiddels verblijft Petri op het terrein van een kennis van rescuer Matild, waar hij samen met zijn broertje Romi wacht op een liefdevol thuis. Romi staat ook op onze website voor adoptie. Petri is het bruine pupje van het duo en zal naar verwachting uitgroeien tot een kleine hond van ongeveer 25–35 cm hoog. Daarnaast heeft hij een nieuwsgierig en vriendelijk karakter. Zoals veel jonge honden vindt hij het heerlijk om te spelen, zijn omgeving te ontdekken en nieuwe dingen te leren. In april 2026 gingen onze vrijwilligers naar Roemenië. Petri en Romi waren toen pas net een paar dagen eerder gevonden en ondergebracht in de shelter. Vanaf het eerste contact waren ze lief, nieuwsgierig en dol op alle aandacht. Met hun lieve snoetjes en zachte vachtjes pakten ze de vrijwilligers direct helemaal in. Ook met andere honden gaat hij goed om en hij geniet zichtbaar van aandacht en gezelligheid. Natuurlijk moet hij nog veel leren, maar met de juiste begeleiding zal hij uitgroeien tot een geweldige gezinshond. Je merkt aan alles dat Petri nog aan het begin van zijn leven staat. Daarom verdient hij het om op te groeien in een warm thuis en niet in een shelter. Hij heeft nog alle kansen voor zich en zoekt mensen die hem liefde, veiligheid en begeleiding willen geven terwijl hij de wereld verder ontdekt. Vanaf 11 juni mag Petri reizen. Hij is klaar voor de volgende stap: een eigen thuis waar hij veilig mag opgroeien, knuffels krijgt en nooit meer in de steek wordt gelaten.
