Pille was found by rescuer Matild when she was only 5 weeks old. Unfortunately, the little puppy was infected with Parvo, a serious and often fatal disease in young dogs. Thanks to good medical care, lots of effort and tremendous fighting spirit, Pille fortunately survived this difficult period. Pille has now grown into a cheerful young teenager who enjoys life to the fullest. She is playful, curious and sometimes a bit mischievous, just like a young dog should be. In addition, she likes to explore her environment and experience new things. Socially, Pille is doing extremely well. She is friendly towards the other dogs in the shelter and greatly enjoys human contact. Attention, companionship and doing things together are wonderful for her. Update April 2026: In April 2026, our volunteers went to Romania, where they personally met Pille. Pille is an energetic and incredibly loving dog who wants to cuddle the most. She is currently not staying at Matild's shelter, but on the property of a friend. Unfortunately, she receives little individual attention there, which is not ideal for a puppy that longs so much for love and contact. During the visit, Pille immediately showed how social and attached she is. She responded lovingly and enthusiastically both to the unfamiliar volunteers and to her rescuer. It was also clearly visible that a strong bond exists between her and Matild. There are also puppies on the property and Pille gets along very well with them. The small ones can climb over her while she stays calmly lying down. Moreover, she approaches the puppies gently and plays kindly with them. Now it's time for the next step in her life: a home of her own with a kind adopter who wants to continue guiding her and introduce her to life as a house dog. A place where she can play, learn, cuddle and be herself completely. Pille is ready for the exciting journey to the Netherlands, on her way to her own golden bed. Pille werd door rescuer Matild gevonden toen ze nog maar 5 weken oud was. Helaas bleek het kleine pupje besmet te zijn met Parvo, een ernstige en vaak dodelijke ziekte bij jonge honden. Dankzij goede medische zorg, veel inzet en enorme vechtlust heeft Pille deze moeilijke periode gelukkig overleefd. Inmiddels is Pille uitgegroeid tot een vrolijke jonge puber die volop van het leven geniet. Ze is speels, nieuwsgierig en soms een beetje ondeugend, precies zoals een jonge hond hoort te zijn. Daarnaast trekt ze er graag op uit om haar omgeving te ontdekken en nieuwe dingen te beleven. Ook sociaal gezien doet Pille het ontzettend goed. Ze is vriendelijk naar de andere honden in de shelter en geniet enorm van menselijk contact. Aandacht, gezelligheid en samen bezig zijn vindt ze geweldig. Update april 2026: In april 2026 gingen onze vrijwilligers naar Roemenië, waar zij Pille persoonlijk hebben leren kennen. Pille is een energieke en ontzettend lieve hond die het allerliefste wil knuffelen. Momenteel verblijft zij niet in de shelter van Matild, maar op het terrein van een kennis. Helaas krijgt ze daar weinig individuele aandacht en juist voor een hondje dat zo naar liefde en contact verlangt, is dat niet ideaal. Tijdens het bezoek liet Pille direct zien hoe sociaal en aanhankelijk zij is. Zowel naar de voor haar onbekende vrijwilligers als naar haar rescuer reageerde ze lief en enthousiast. Daarnaast was duidelijk zichtbaar dat er een sterke band bestaat tussen haar en Matild. Ook verblijven er puppies op het terrein en daar gaat Pille geweldig mee om. De kleintjes mogen over haar heen klimmen terwijl zij rustig blijft liggen. Bovendien benadert ze de puppies op een zachte manier en speelt ze vriendelijk met hen samen. Nu is het tijd voor de volgende stap in haar leven: een eigen thuis bij een lieve adoptant die haar verder wil begeleiden en haar laat kennismaken met het leven als huishond. Een plek waar ze mag spelen, leren, knuffelen en helemaal zichzelf kan zijn. Pille is klaar voor de spannende reis naar Nederland, op weg naar haar eigen gouden mandje.
