Platine is a shy European cat with a reserved temperament. Behind her timid nature is a sensitive little cat who will need time, patience, and a lot of gentleness to reveal her full personality. At the shelter, Platine prefers to hide in her tower with other cats. She is very wary of humans and is difficult to approach and may hiss when she feels anxious or threatened. A real socialization effort will be necessary to help her gain confidence and discover that a relationship with humans can also be a source of comfort and security. Despite her fears, Platine has good qualities: she is clean, tolerates solitude well, and gets along with other cats, whose presence could even help her feel more secure in her future home. She can live in an apartment or a house. If she has access to the outdoors, it should be considered only after a long period of adaptation, when she is perfectly at ease in her new environment, to avoid any risk of escape. Platine is not suitable for a family with young children. We are looking for calm, patient, and experienced adopters who are willing to respect her pace without trying to rush her. Derrière sa grande timidité se cache une petite minette sensible qui aura besoin de temps, de patience et de beaucoup de douceur pour révéler toute sa personnalité.Au refuge, Platine préfère rester cachée dans sa tour en compagnie d'autres chats. Très méfiante envers l'humain, elle est difficile à approcher et peut souffler lorsqu'elle se sent inquiète ou menacée. Un véritable travail de sociabilisation sera donc nécessaire pour l'aider à prendre confiance et à découvrir qu'une relation avec l'humain peut aussi être source de réconfort et de sécurité.Malgré ses craintes, Platine possède de belles qualités : elle est propre, supporte bien la solitude et s'entend avec les autres chats, dont la présence pourrait même l'aider à se sentir plus rassurée dans son futur foyer.Elle peut vivre aussi bien en appartement que dans une maison.
