In seiner Familie aufgewachsen, war Popeyes Leben wohlbehütet. Leider haben sich die Lebensumstände und sein bisheriger Alltag nach der Geburt des Kindes arg verändert. Die kleine Knutschkugel ist sehr menschenbezogen, verschmust, anhänglich, aufmerksam und schlau. Popeye ist gern aktiv unterwegs und liebt gemeinsame Aktivitäten mit seinen Menschen, bevorzugt durch Wald und Feld. Popeye baut eine enge Bindung auf und freut sich über jede Zuwendung. Natürlich bringt Popeye auch einen liebenswerten OEB-Dickkopf mit. Der Kleine bringt daneben aber auch ein gewisses Ressourcenverhalten mit. Für ihn wertvolle Dinge möchte er oftmals gern für sich behalten, Essbares in jeder Form – auch außerhalb – wird aufgenommen und ist selbstverständlich wertvoll. Auch Stresssituationen kann Popeye nicht gut bewältigen und neigt schnell zu Übersprungshandlungen.
