Her parasitic infestation was so severe that it could be considered a health risk. Perhaps the massive flea infestation was the reason she was shaved, but of course, that was not a solution. We treated her accordingly and allowed her to recover before we could vaccinate and neuter Priscilla. Now she has moved into the cat house and is ready for a new, responsible home. Priscilla is open, cuddly, and very talkative … almost as if she wants to complain. Her fur is already growing back, and the parasites belong to the past. At our shelter, she currently shows no tendency to escape, but she has only been there for a few days, and preferences often only become apparent after the adjustment period. Her interaction with her roommates is relaxed. Spontaneous visits are unfortunately not possible. For inquiries about Priscilla, the coordinators are available for telephone consultations from Monday to Friday from 14 – 17 hours and on Saturday from 13 – 16 hours.

Ihr Parasitenbefall war in einem Ausmaß, dass man von einem gesundheitlich bedenklichen Zustand reden musste. Vielleicht war der massive Flohbefall der Grund dafür, dass sie geschoren wurde, aber natürlich war das keine Lösung. Wir haben sie entsprechend behandelt und sich erholen lassen, bevor wir Priscilla impfen und kastrieren konnten. Jetzt ist sie ins Katzenhaus umgezogen und bereit für ein neues, verantwortungsvolles Zuhause. Priscilla ist aufgeschlossen, verschmust und sehr gesprächig … fast hört sie sich an, als wolle sie sich beschweren. Inzwischen wächst das Fell aber schon nach und die Parasiten gehören der Vergangenheit an. Bei uns zeigt sie aktuell keine Tendenz, raus zu wollen, aber sie ist auch erst ein paar Tage im Katzenhaus und manchmal zeigen sich die Vorlieben erst nach der Eingewöhnungszeit. Ihr Umgang mit ihren Mitbewohnern ist entspannt. Spontane Besuche sind leider nicht möglich. Bei Interesse an Priscilla stehen die vermittelnden Kollegen für telefonische Erstgespräche von Montag bis Freitag von 14 – 17 Uhr und Samstag von 13 – 16 Uhr zur Verfügung.
