adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Rada can travel directly to your final destination! Her story: Baia Mare, Romania. Have you ever seen a cuter puppy? We can't believe it! The little female dog is named Rada and desperately needs your support, because Rada's start in this puppy life was really very hard. Within a few weeks of her life, she became infected with the life-threatening Parvo virus and her survival was hanging by a thread. But Rada has a real fighter's heart and didn't give up. So she was able to overcome the infection and survive. Now she waits together with her sister Julie in a Romanian foster home for loving people who want to adopt her. Rada is a charming puppy girl who gratefully allows being stroked and cuddled. In a stable environment with patient people, she will surely develop well. The little one is only about two months old and will quickly learn what it takes to be a good family dog. Rada has soft, tri-colored fur, shiny, black button eyes, and a heart-melting expression. With beautiful eyes, she looks into the camera and touches our hearts. Rada is expected to reach a medium size and will fit into any loving family. We wish very much that the little unfortunate bird becomes a lucky one, by the little puppy finding the right people who will show her how wonderful life can be. At the moment, Rada is simply a wonderful and sweet puppy child that longs for love and attention. But her puberty won't be far off, and this is also a time for all puppies when loving and consistent training must be worked on. That's why we recommend Rada's new people to work with a positively working dog training class. Patient and loving training will promote her development and strengthen the bond to her trusted people. Through regular contact with fellow animals and many positive experiences with her people, Rada will quickly develop into a happy and reliable companion. Do you perhaps have a warm dog bed and a place in your heart for our brave Rada? Then contact us! We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the little female dog. A special thank you goes to the namesake Jenny, who chose the name for the charming Rada. Status: 23.04. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

About Rada

What life with Rada looks like

Rada is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rada, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rada?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rada on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rada if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rada already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rada isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rada and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
