SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀

Mixed Breed · Female

Sakira must unfortunately be surrendered, as her former dog mother is no longer capable of caring for her and addressing her needs due to health issues. A genetic test was conducted on Sakira to learn more about her origins. According to the test, her mother is a Continental Bulldog, while the breed of the father is unknown. Sakira is not a list dog and therefore does not require a special permit. Sakira is a friendly, interested, and people-oriented female dog. She loves contact with people and is very clingy. She also gets along well with children in general. However, due to her boisterous nature, it may happen that she bumps into the children when she is particularly playful or excited. For this reason, we think that the children should already be older. She does not get along with all fellow animals, and she shows problems on the leash. Therefore, she needs dog-experienced people who are able to offer her patience and consistency. An ideal place for Sakira is a family that is willing to integrate her into their everyday life and offer her the necessary structure. Since Sakira still has a lot to learn, especially the dog ABC, a visit to dog training classes is definitely a must to further promote her education and social skills. Sakira is looking for a home with people who can dedicate a lot of love, patience, and time to her to help her continue to develop and live in a safe environment. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for rehoming.

About SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀

What life with SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 looks like

SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzbund Basel Regional.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzbund Basel Regional handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzbund Basel Regional will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzbund Basel Regional early rather than rehoming privately; they know SAKIRA – Die treue Wilde😍 🍀Reserviert🍀 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
