Adopt Salmari, Vantaa

Mixed Breed · Male

Now it's an unprecedented opportunity!!!! Indeed, a meow-collie is coming to the market. So, all service-sensitive ears, caterers offering food, and homes dazzled by the meow-collie's glow, please be ready. I am thus incredibly handsome, dark and fiery male. In my previous years, I spent time outdoors wandering in search of random treats, as well as necessary things to fill my stomach and stay safe from dangers. The age meter has managed to accumulate something like 5-6 years on the surface. Whether it's there or not, I'm still completely gorgeous. For safety, I had a little beauty operation where my second eyelid was slightly fixed. Now the fur no longer tickles my eye and I am a bit more handsome again. That previous traveling life has left small traces. Apparently, it's necessary to mention here the positive side. It's similar to humans' hives, but a cat's matter. I don't know much about it, nor do I want to do anything about it now, but that person can tell you more if you're interested. Now that I've decided to settle down and move into a good person's home, I would like to have a nice cat as a companion. If you don't already have such a positive cat at home, our association has many of them. Here in the first home, there are three such very cute strays, from which we could even choose together a forever home lady for me. People seem a little suspicious to me, and I don't like when they touch my skin. Before and after that beauty operation, I did endure nicely applying eye drops in different forms eight times a day, but otherwise I want to handle the approach myself when it suits me. Sufficiently good snacks are definitely worth reaching for from the hand, but those little pats still feel too much like pampering. Well, how is it? Are there resources in your house and life for me and my stray? I'm quite neat and well-behaved. This cat's FIV status applies — see shelter for details.

Ikää mittariin on ehtinyt kertyä jotain 5-6 vuoden pintaan. Toi aikaisempi reissuelämä on jättänyt pieniä jälkiä. Täällä ensikodissa on kolme semmoista tosi simsakkaa mirriä, joista me voitas vaikka yhdessä valita mulle loppuelämän daami. No, mites on?

Frequently asked

Adopting Salmari, Vantaa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Salmari, Vantaa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Kissojensuojelu.fi handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Salmari, Vantaa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Salmari, Vantaa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Kissojensuojelu.fi will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Salmari, Vantaa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Salmari, Vantaa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Kissojensuojelu.fi early rather than rehoming privately; they know Salmari, Vantaa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FI). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
