She has since been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready for a new home. Savanna, the expressive one, is still a bit reserved… but despite all the unpleasant things (veterinary examination, shot, spaying) she was greeted with, she has already mellowed from a cave dweller to a quiet observer outside a cave. With a bit of patience and empathy, the quiet observer will surely become a snuggly cat, as she already allows contact and enjoys it a little with a gentle approach. Savanna is used to living with other cats and should not become an individual cat. It would be nice if she could move out with Sarafina, as they already know each other. Spontaneous visits are unfortunately not possible. For inquiries about Savanna, the mediating colleagues are available for telephone consultations Monday through Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00.

Inzwischen ist sie kastriert, geimpft und gechipt und bereit für ein neues Zuhause. Noch ist die ausdrucksstarke Savanna etwas zurückhaltend … aber trotz all der unangenehmen Sachen (tierärztliche Untersuchung, Spritze, Kastration …) mit denen sie quasi begrüßt wurde, hat sie sich schon von einer Höhlenbewohnerin zur stillen Beobachterin außerhalb einer Höhle gemausert. Mit etwas Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen wird aus der stillen Beobachterin sicher schnell eine Schmusekatze, da sie schon jetzt bei einer ruhigen Annäherung den Kontakt zulässt und ein wenig genießt. Savanna kennt das Zusammenleben mit anderen Katzen und sollte keine Einzelkatze werden. Schön wäre, wenn sie mit Sarafina ausziehen könnte, da sie sich bereits kennen. Spontane Besuche sind leider nicht möglich. Bei Interesse an Savanna stehen die vermittelnden Kollegen für telefonische Erstgespräche von Montag bis Freitag von 14 – 17 Uhr und Samstag von 13 – 16 Uhr zur Verfügung.
