Sem is a beautiful 6-year-old Border Collie/White Shepherd mix who may have already caught your eye! She came to our shelter from a distance and is now looking for a new, loving home. Sem is an incredibly sweet dog who loves attention and cuddles. She can look at you with her big puppy eyes and who can resist such a face? However, Sem also has another side. Don't be fooled by her cute appearance, as she can be quite watchful. The herder blood is clearly in her character and her hunting instinct is also present. During walks, Sem can sometimes pull on the leash, but she is easy to guide and correct. With consistent training and the right guidance, we expect to see significant progress here. Sem finds other dogs very interesting and can become strongly focused on them during walks. This can manifest in barking and pulling on the leash. For Sem, we are looking for a nice home where she has enough space, but most of all, she gets the attention, clarity, and guidance that suits her. Jullie hebben onze lieve Sem misschien al voorbij zien komen! Sem is een prachtige kruising Border Collie/Witte Herder van 6 jaar oud. Ze is via afstand bij ons in het asiel gekomen en is nu op zoek naar een nieuw, liefdevol thuis. Sem is een ontzettend lieve hond die graag aandacht en knuffels komt halen. Ze kan je daarbij aankijken met haar grote puppyogen en zeg nou zelfβ¦ wie kan zoβn koppie nu weerstaan? Toch heeft Sem ook een andere kant. Laat je dus niet alleen verleiden door haar lieve uiterlijk, want ze kan behoorlijk waaks zijn. Het herderbloed zit duidelijk in haar karakter en ook haar jachtinstinct is aanwezig. Tijdens het wandelen kan Sem soms flink trekken aan de riem, maar ze laat zich goed begeleiden en corrigeren. Met consequente training en de juiste begeleiding verwachten we dat hier zeker nog mooie stappen in te maken zijn. Andere honden vindt Sem erg interessant en hier kan ze tijdens het wandelen sterk op gefocust raken. Dit kan zich uiten in blaffen en trekken aan de riem. Voor Sem zoeken we een fijn thuis waar ze voldoende ruimte heeft, maar vooral ook de aandacht, duidelijkheid en begeleiding krijgt die bij haar past. Sem is graag bij haar mensen en daarom zoeken we een plek waar ze niet te veel alleen hoeft te zijn. Denk jij dat jij Sem het thuis kunt bieden waar ze naar op zoek is?
