Adopt Snoopa

Mixed Breed · Unknown

The person who gives their heart to Snoopa (and she gives hers in return) will daily experience pure joy in life. Snoopa is a heart-adoring female dog who unfortunately still has to live in a huge animal shelter. Why? We don't know. But we do know that this cute female dog has not given up on living a life and loving it despite all the hardships. She is a true master at it. This life master should find a real home soon with loving people who appreciate what Snoopa brings: a very lovable being and a particularly cute appearance. Snoopa is simply sweet, lively, very friendly, and adaptable. She is not only a special treasure in character but also visually very special: she has huge brown ears, which surely catch no sound. Her particularly beautiful and interesting light brown spots on her face and body look like larger freckles in her white fur. Her sweet little face is two-toned: one side is white (with those freckles) and the other side is brown. Her fur base color is white. With her greenish-brown eyes, she looks very curious and very interested. Snoopa is an alert little girl dog and everyone would surely like her as a (dog) friend. We don't know Snoopas's previous life. We don't know where she came from or how long she has been in the animal shelter. She seems to have once had a home. We can, however, say with certainty that she is compatible with dogs of both sexes and, after an initial period of reserve, also loves the people she trusts. She appears to be eager and intelligent and she is full of energy. Whether she is leash-friendly, we don't know. If she isn't, she will learn with joy, for she will love shared walks and excursions. She needs people who would like to have a small companion dog and who enjoy learning with Snoopa. A little patience, loving consequence, time to build trust, and joy in "play and fun" (apportieren?) will be greatly appreciated by Snoopa. With this wonderful female dog, it will surely never be boring, and the "teamwork" will bring great joy. A soft dog bed, quiet times, and many cuddle units with her new favorite people will be loved by Snoopa as well. © 2006-2024 by animal welfare association Europa e.V. Walks well on a leash.

© 2006-2024 by Tierschutzverein Europa e.V. - All rights reserved

About Snoopa

What life with Snoopa looks like

Snoopa is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Europa in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Snoopa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Snoopa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Europa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Snoopa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Snoopa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Europa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Snoopa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Snoopa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Europa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Snoopa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
