Sonny is a gentle boy who prefers a quiet and peaceful life. With time and patience it wont take him too long to settle in and start to blossom. He does like to talk and will whine to let you know exactly how he feels about a situation, but we think this is just part of his charm! Sonny has been quite happy to hop into the car, will happily settle down and seems to be happy to investigate new things with a bit of encouragement. His new family will need to be committed to getting to know him and help him feel at ease. Beautiful Sonny is a 3 year old Lurcher who has come into our care after being found as stray. This sweet boy can be sensitive at times and takes a little bit of time to find his paws. He is such a sweetie and we think he could live with upper primary aged children who can understand when he may be feeling a little worried. He's quite happy to sniff and explore, but can be a little unsure at times. He's hoping to find adopters who can help him learn all about the world, including what life in a home is all about. This will include mastering housetraining and learning how to relax and settle on his own. Sonny will need to be the only dog in his new home, but could enjoy walkies with calm doggy friends.
