Today, we're looking for something akin to finding a needle in a giant haystack. This pair is seeking a very special home. We introduce you to Sonny and his one-eyed companion, Penny. Penny couldn't return to the place where she was found; she was born around 2019. Sonny was born in 2022. Both were captured as adults. Sonny came from a farm, to which he couldn't return. Penny had to have one eye removed due to an injury, preventing her from returning to the place where she was found. Both have lived on one of our foster homes ever since and enjoy the warmth and dryness. However, people find them questionable and keep their distance. If it were up to them, it would be sufficient for the human staff to serve food and treats and clean the litter boxes. And that's why we're seeking a special foster home for the two, even though it will likely be incredibly challenging. We're looking for a cat-loving person who has enough space to give the two a place of retreat, which they desperately need, without any expectations or pressure on them. Even with the knowledge that they might never be touchable and let the two live as they wish. But with a watchful eye on them, so we can intervene if anything should happen. Due to their special characteristics (long-haired and one-eyed), they should not be in an unsecured outdoor area. Maybe someone has a huge heart and plenty of space and wants to help them? Heute suchen wir so etwas ähnliches wie eine winzig kleine Stecknadel in einem riesigen Heuhaufen. Dieses Pärchen sucht ein ganz besonderes Zuhause. Wir stellen Euch heute unseren Sonny und seine einäugige Freundin Penny vor. Penny konnte damals nicht mehr an die Fangstelle zurück, sie ist ca. 2019 geboren. Sonny ist 2022 geboren. Beide wurden als erwachsene Katzen eingefangen. Sonny stammt von einem Bauernhof, wohin er nicht zurück konnte. Penny musste aufgrund einer Verletzung ein Auge entfernt werden, womit sie ebenfalls nicht wieder an die Fundstelle zurück konnte. Beide leben seitdem auf einer unserer Pflegestellen und genießen es auch, im Warmen und Trockenen zu leben. Menschen finden sie allerdings fragwürdig und halten Abstand. Wenn es nach ihnen ginge, würde es völlig ausreichen, dass das menschliche Personal Futter und Leckerlies serviert und die Katzenklos reinigt. Und genau aus dem Grund besuchen wir eine besondere Pflegestelle/Zuhause für die beiden, auch wenn es wahrscheinlich unfassbar schwierig werden wird. Wir suchen einen katzenliebenden Menschen, der ausreichend Platz hat, den beiden ihren Rückzugsort zu geben, den sie unbedingt brauchen, ohne Erwartungen oder Druck an die beiden. Auch mit dem Wissen, dass sie vielleicht nie anfassbar sein werden und die zwei so leben lässt, wie sie es wollen. Aber eben doch mit dem wachsamen Auge auf sie, so dass wir einschreiten können, wenn irgendetwas sein sollte. Die beiden sollen aufgrund ihrer Besonderheiten (langhaarig und einäugig) nicht in den ungesicherten Freigang.
