Strolchi

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Strolchi has found a home! His story: Strolchi is a black-and-white fluff with an unmistakable charm – a little furball that immediately spreads joy and invites cuddles. Whoever meets Strolchi immediately notices that he is a special, loving being. Strolchi was abandoned together with his siblings Shiny and Litchi in a village near Fantanele – homeless and without a mother. Fortunately, he was found in time and brought to safety. Now, Strolchi is waiting to be discovered by his own family. Strolchi is a true sunbeam: curious, friendly, and open. He loves human contact, is playful, attentive, and shows his small adventures in a charming way. He gets along well with other dogs. Cats have not been tested yet, but this could be possible with serious interest. His future size cannot be predicted precisely, but he will likely be medium-sized. Also, a herding dog trait cannot be ruled out, which is why we are looking for people who are familiar with possible breed-specific characteristics. An ideal home would have a garden, preferably in a rural setting with few distractions. Strolchi is not yet familiar with the everyday life in a household – house training, leash manners, and everyday rules must be learned by him. With his curious, people-oriented nature, he brings ideal prerequisites to master all this with loving consistency and patience. Positive working dog training classes would make the start easier. For Strolchi, we wish for a home with family connections, time, humor, and patience – people who enjoy accompanying a young dog through its growth. Even a foster home would be a great gain for Strolchi, so he doesn't have to grow up in the shelter! Many thanks to Kora R.! You named Strolchi! Date: 27.03. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Kora R.! Du hast Strolchi seinen Namen geschenkt! Stand: 27.03.2026

About Strolchi

What life with Strolchi looks like

Strolchi is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Strolchi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Strolchi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Strolchi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Strolchi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Strolchi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Strolchi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Strolchi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
