Theo is about one year old and currently lives in the cat room, where he is slowly getting used to his surroundings. He is a shy tomcat who needs time to gain trust. He often reacts to strangers by hiding or cautiously hissing - not out of aggression, but out of insecurity. Theo's story starts sadly: He was found on the roadside in icy cold weather and was rescued. Now he is waiting for a home where he can get safety, peace and loving company. Who will give this cautious but special tomcat the chance to arrive at his own pace and learn to trust? Theo therefore needs quiet, patient people who give him the space he needs. If given time and not pressured, he can gradually show what a kind and sensitive tomcat is actually in him. Theo gets along well with other cats, so he should move to an existing cat that gives him security. Whether he gets along with dogs has not been tested yet. For Theo we are looking for a home without free roaming. Before Theo moves to his new home, like all our cats and tomcats, he will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. And he will be tested for FIV and FeLV.

Theo ist etwa 1,5 Jahre alt und lebt derzeit im Katzenzimmer, wo er sich langsam an seine Umgebung gewöhnt. Er ist ein schüchterner Kater, der Zeit braucht, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Fremden gegenüber reagiert er anfangs oft mit Verstecken oder einem vorsichtigen Fauchen – nicht aus Aggression, sondern aus Unsicherheit. Theos Geschichte beginnt traurig: Er wurde bei eisiger Kälte am Straßenrand gefunden und gerettet. Jetzt wartet er darauf, endlich ein Zuhause zu finden, in dem er Sicherheit, Ruhe und liebevolle Begleitung bekommt. Wer gibt diesem vorsichtigen, aber besonderen Kater die Chance, in seinem eigenen Tempo anzukommen und Vertrauen zu lernen? Theo braucht deshalb ruhige, geduldige Menschen, die ihm den Raum geben, den er braucht. Wenn man ihm Zeit lässt und ihn nicht bedrängt, kann er nach und nach zeigen, was für ein lieber und sensibler Kater eigentlich in ihm steckt. Mit anderen Katzen versteht sich Theo gut, daher sollte er zu einer vorhandenen Katze ziehen, die ihm Sicherheit gibt. Ob er sich mit Hunden versteht, wurde bisher nicht getestet. Für Theo suchen wir ein Zuhause ohne Freigang. Bevor Theo in sein neues Zuhause umzieht, wird er, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Und wird auf FIV und FeLV getestet. Auch seinen EU-Heimtierausweis packt er ins Köfferchen und kann nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr in sein neues Zuhause ziehen.
