Deze leuke jongen is Teun! Een grotere kruising met een leeftijd van bijna 6 jaar oud (geboortedatum 05-08-2020). Teun komt oorspronkelijk uit het buitenland en hij is bij ons binnengekomen omdat de eigenaars niet meer voor hem konden zorgen. Teun is leuk, maar hij is ook op heel veel vlakken onzeker. Nieuwe mensen ontmoeten kost even tijd en andere honden vindt hij van dichtbij ook wel spannend. Als er wat afstand tussen zit, kan hij ze allemaal prima passeren en negeren. Alleen als ze te dichtbij komen, kan hij gaan blaffen. Hij is hierin wel te begeleiden door met wat lekkers te werken. Teun’s favoriete spelletje is tikkertje spelen. Als hij wordt uitgedaagd op de speelweide met een spelboog wordt hij helemaal enthousiast en gaat hij rondjes rennen en maakt hij grappige bewegingen en sprongen. Uiteindelijk tikt hij je dan aan om weer opnieuw uitgedaagd te worden. Wij zoeken dan ook een eigenaar die het niet gek vindt om even de clown uit te hangen om Teun uit te dagen. Daarnaast vindt hij het fijn wanneer hij je kent om lekker te knuffelen of zoekspelletjes of puzzels te doen. Teun is namelijk altijd wel te porren voor lekker eten. Als het heel lekker is, dan kan hij gespannen reageren als je toenadering zoekt. Teun is wel een waakse hond en slaat aan wanneer de deurbel gaat of wanneer hij mensen voor zijn huis ziet lopen, en dus ook wanneer er visite binnenkomt. Tijdens de kennismaking zullen we uitleggen hoe je hiermee aan de slag kan gaan en kunnen we thuis eventueel begeleiding geven. In de auto gaat hij graag mee en in het bos of de polder lopen vindt hij erg fijn. Wij doen dit met een lange lijn. Zodat hij lekker de ruimte heeft. Vanwege zijn reactie richting andere honden en onbekende mensen loopt hij niet los. Teun is een slimme jongen en weet hoe hij deurklinken open krijgt. Hier zal een eigenaar dan ook rekening mee moeten houden met de voor- en achterdeur en mogelijk maatregelen voor moeten treffen. Teun wordt vanwege zijn onzekere gedrag niet bij kinderen of andere huisdieren geplaatst. Na gewenning kan Teun een aantal uurtjes alleen thuis blijven.
