His story: The little Toffy is one of seven puppies who together found their way to the animal shelter. Along with his siblings Emre, Pearl, Lili, Cinny, Fluse, and Chipsy, he was unfortunately brought to us without his mother and without any further information. Toffy has since traveled to a foster home in Amelinghausen and shows there what a great little guy he is. The young male dog is an exceptionally loving, calm, and very people-oriented puppy who quickly builds trust and seeks the company of his humans. Especially noteworthy is his great enthusiasm for children. He approaches them kindly, carefully, and affectionately and enjoys the shared time very much. Even in everyday life, Toffy impresses with his pleasant nature. He is cuddly, seeks physical contact, and prefers to lie on the sofa. At the same time, he shows attentiveness and surprisingly eager to learn. Within a few minutes, he has understood sitting, which shows how clever and cooperative he is. With positive reinforcement and loving guidance, he will surely learn other things quickly. Toffy gets along well with other dogs. He actively seeks contact, invites friendly play, and would have great fun with a confident only dog who plays with him and gives him orientation. A pre-existing dog in the new home would be nice, but is not a must. Despite his uncomplicated nature, Toffy is of course still a puppy. The entire dog ABC still needs to be addressed. House training, leash training, being left alone, and consistent routines still need to be built. His new humans should be ready to build on this and accompany him through his growth with patience. Puberty still lies ahead of him. During this time, he will test boundaries and sometimes renegotiate what he has learned. With loving consistency, structure, and positive training, Toffy will master this phase well. Positive working dog training classes can be a valuable support and help to strengthen the bond at the same time. Seine Geschichte: Der kleine Toffy ist einer von sieben Welpen, die gemeinsam den Weg zu uns ins Tierheim gefunden haben. Zusammen mit seinen Geschwistern Emre, Perle, Lili, Cinny, Fluse und Chipsy wurde er leider ohne seine Mutter und ohne weitere Informationen zu uns gebracht. Toffy konnte inzwischen nach 21385 Amelinghausen in seine Pflegestelle reisen und zeigt dort, was für ein toller kleiner Kerl in ihm steckt. Der junge Rüde ist ein ausgesprochen lieber, ruhiger und sehr menschenbezogener Welpe, der schnell Vertrauen fasst und die Nähe seiner Menschen sucht. Besonders auffällig ist seine große Begeisterung für Kinder. Er geht freundlich, vorsichtig und liebevoll auf sie zu und genießt die gemeinsame Zeit sehr. Auch im Alltag überzeugt Toffy mit seinem angenehmen Wesen. Er ist verschmust, sucht gerne Körperkontakt und liegt am liebsten mit auf dem Sofa. Gleichzeitig zeigt er sich aufmerksam und erstaunlich lernfreudig. Sitz hat er innerhalb weniger Minuten verstanden, was zeigt, wie klug und kooperativ er ist. Mit positiver Verstärkung und liebevoller Anleitung wird er sicherlich schnell weitere Dinge lernen. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Toffy sehr gut. Er sucht aktiv den Kontakt, fordert freundlich zum Spielen auf und hätte große Freude an einem souveränen Ersthund, der mit ihm tobt und ihm Orientierung gibt. Ein vorhandener Hund im neuen Zuhause wäre daher schön, ist aber kein Muss. Trotz seiner unkomplizierten Art ist Toffy natürlich noch ein Welpe. Das gesamte Hunde ABC steht noch auf dem Plan. Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit, Alleinebleiben und feste Abläufe müssen weiterhin aufgebaut werden. Seine neuen Menschen sollten bereit sein, daran anzuknüpfen und ihn geduldig durchs Großwerden zu begleiten. Auch die Pubertät liegt noch vor ihm. In dieser Zeit wird er Grenzen austesten und Gelerntes manchmal neu verhandeln. Mit liebevoller Konsequenz, Struktur und positivem Training wird Toffy diese Phase gut meistern. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann dabei eine wertvolle Unterstützung sein und hilft gleichzeitig, die Bindung zu stärken. Toffy zieht gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit seinem EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann er gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt werden.
