Adopt TYRA

Domestic Shorthair · Unknown · Adult · 4 years

Tyra is one of several cats rescued from a small cat colony. She's a cautious cat who needs time and patience to trust humans. She's been in foster care since September 2022, slowly becoming more confident. Initially she would hiss when approached and hide often, but has made wonderful progress, especially with her foster mom. Now she loves lying in arms and purrs loudly when petted. Strangers are still scary, so she needs a quiet home where she can feel safe at her own pace. She gets along well with other cats - playing and having fun in her foster home. Tyra is very curious about the outside world and needs a home that can offer her a quiet, safe outdoor area without lots of people, cars, and other disturbances.
