104727 Alfi - UPDATE 10/2025 104727 Alfi – male dog, neutered, born ca. 2024, shoulder height ca. 45 cm, in animal shelter Belchatow since 07.05.2025. Alfi lies in the grass, the situation seems to overwhelm him here and now, whether it's because of the leash – we don't know – but he still has big problems with it. According to the animal shelter, he was a stray that the neighbors always chased away, which made him afraid of people. Here in the animal shelter, he begins to slowly trust people again. It was reported that Alfi tries to overcome his fear of the unknown. It's nice that Alfi is friendly to us; he shows no aggressive behavior, doesn't snap, doesn't threaten, and is very calm. Although we are strangers to him, we can touch him, pet him a little, but we don't want to pressure him. Alfi – only one year old, a handsome, young dog who needs time, safety, and affection, because he seems to want to trust, accepts help, and we hope that he will be trained a little soon to open up more and feel more comfortable. We keep a close eye on him and will report back soon about his progress. Alfi shares his kennel with female dogs and male dogs. (08/2025 MI/AX) UPDATE 10/2025: Alfi still doesn't go near the leash; he is carried to us. Unfortunately, nothing has changed since August. He lies right next to the tire and stays there the whole time, moving not an inch – here he feels safe, constantly looking around, scanning his surroundings. He trembles all over, is afraid, and doesn't feel well. All of this is too much for Alfi, the animal shelter stress, and our visit. His caretaker says that Alfi wants to make contact, but he doesn't know how to do it and simply doesn't dare. Just before we were going to release Alfi, I sat on the ground, very close, placed his head on my knees, and gently stroked him, wanting to give him a gentle touch. He stayed lying there, very calm, let himself be petted, made no escape attempts, no snapping, no threatening. This insecure, frightened, handsome dog fills me with pity. He represents so many dogs: Alfi is one of the many invisible dogs, hiding from sheer insecurity, not daring to show himself, trembling, and perhaps more than anything else, wanting affection and security. Alfi needs an experienced home, a loving, patient, and calm environment that shows him how a "dog" can enjoy trust and contact. We keep a close eye on him. I hope that Alfi gets his chance. 104727 ALFI - UPDATE 10/2025 104727 Alfi – Rüde, kastriert, geboren ca. 2024, Schulterhöhe ca. 45 cm, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 07.05.2025. Alfi liegt im Gras, die Situation scheint ihn hier und jetzt zu überfordern, ob dies an der Leine liegt - wir wissen es nicht - aber er hat mit der Leine noch große Probleme. Laut Tierheim war er ein Streuner, den die Anwohner immer wieder verjagten, worauf er sich vor Menschen fürchtete. Hier im Tierheim beginnt er langsam, den Menschen wieder zu vertrauen, uns wurde erzählt, dass Alfi versucht, seine Ängste vor dem Unbekannten zu überwinden. Schön ist, dass Alfi freundlich zu uns ist, er zeigt überhaupt kein Aggressionsverhalten, schnappt nicht, droht nicht, ist sehr ruhig. Obwohl wir fremd für ihn sind, dürfen wir ihn anfassen, ein wenig streicheln, aber wir wollen ihn nicht bedrängen. Alfi - erst ein Jahr alt, ein hübscher, junger, doch lieber Hund, der Zeit, Sicherheit und Zuwendung braucht, denn er scheint vertrauen zu wollen, nimmt Hilfe an, wir hoffen, dass zeitnah mit ihm ein wenig trainiert wird, um sich weiter zu öffnen und um sich auch wohler zu fühlen. Wir behalten ihn im Auge und berichten bald wieder über seine Fortschritte. Seinen Zwinger teilt Alfi sich mit Hündinnen und Rüden. (08/2025 MI/AX) UPDATE 10/2025 : Alfi geht nach wie vor nicht an der Leine, er wird zu uns getragen. Es hat sich seit August leider nichts geändert. Er legt sich gleich dicht an den Autoreifen und bleibt hier auch die ganze Zeit liegen, bewegt sich kein Stück - hier fühlt er sich sicher, schaut immer wieder umher, scannt die Umgebung ab. Er zittert am ganzen Körper, hat Angst und fühlt sich nicht wohl. Das alles ist zu viel, der Tierheimstress und auch unser Besuch. Sein Pfleger erzählt, dass Alfi Kontakt haben möchte, er aber nicht weiß wie es geht und sich einfach nicht traut. Kurz bevor wir Alfi entlassen wollen, setzte ich mich auf den Boden, ganz nah, lege seinen Kopf auf meine Knie und streichel ihn ganz vorsichtig, ich wollte ihm unbedingt einmal eine sanfte Berührungen geben. Er blieb so liegen, ganz ruhig, ließ sich streicheln, unternahm keine Fluchtversuche, kein Schnappen, kein Drohen. Mir tut dieser unsichere, ängstliche, hübsche Hund unheimlich leid. Er steht für so viele Hunde: Alfi ist einer der vielen unsichtbaren Hunde, versteckt sich vor lauter Unsicherheit, traut sich nicht, zittert, und möchte vielleicht nichts mehr als Zuwendung und Geborgenheit. Alfi braucht ein erfahrenes Zuhause, ein liebevolles, geduldiges und ruhiges Umfeld, dass ihm zeigt wie "Hund" Vertrauen und Kontakt genießen kann. Wir behalten ihn im Auge. Ich hoffe, dass Alfi seine Chance bekommt. Seinen Zwinger teilt Alfi sich mit Hündinnen und Rüden.(10/2025 MI/KW )
