14 July 2026: Viveca is a sweet, young female German Shepherd mix who is looking for a calm, dog-experienced home. The new home must be able to provide this young dog with plenty of time, consistent guidance, and long-term training. The new home should commit to practicing new situations calmly, at the dog’s own pace. Being left alone may be challenging for Viveca, so it’s important to prepare for potential separation anxiety and to practice being alone gradually. The new home should commit to dog-centered, positive training methods as well as building a balanced daily routine. Viveca is not ideally suited for adoption into a family with children or as a first dog. Due to her sensitivity to barking, an apartment building is not the most suitable living arrangement for Viveca. 4 August 2026: Viveca is extremely people-oriented and seeks comfort and security in the arms of familiar people. Especially toys provide her with support both indoors and during walks outdoors. On walks, Viveca consistently moves forward, but she patiently stops to sniff around and walks nicely on a leash without being overly distracted by people or other dogs. She shows some interest in other dogs. Viveca knows basic commands, and nail trimming goes smoothly when done with treats.
