He travels by car without any problems. He keeps the house clean, eliminates his bodily needs exclusively outdoors, doesn’t destroy anything, and calmly stays alone when left unsupervised. He has a favorite spot at home that serves as his safe haven. At home, he’s quiet and sleeps a lot. Węgielek enjoys affection, but only from people he knows well. He barks at strangers in the apartment, but after a while, he can be persuaded with treats. He’s not aggressive. He needs calm, patient caregivers. He could live either in a house with a garden or in an apartment, but in a quiet neighborhood—not in the city center. He’d probably get along well with a friendly male or female dog, though it’s essential to introduce them first. He also accepts cats. Węgielek is neutered, dewormed, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
