She has since been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and can now move into the cat house. This approximately one-year-old cat is still shy in the cat room and tends to retreat, so we can't say much about her yet. She is friendly towards us and enjoys cuddles, but many things still unsettle her, which is not really surprising given what happened in the last few weeks. Although she, of course, arrived with us in good health, a lot of unpleasantness was initially on the agenda with spaying and examinations. We will need to observe Wilma a bit more to determine whether she needs a walk or if a balcony apartment would be enough for her, and whether she would like the company of fellow animals. As soon as she tells us more about herself, we will update this. Spontaneous visits are unfortunately not possible. For inquiries about Wilma, the coordinating colleagues are available for telephone consultations from Monday to Friday from 14 – 17 hours and on Saturday from 13 – 16 hours. Inzwischen wurde sie kastriert, geimpft und gechipt und konnte ins Katzenhaus umziehen. Die ca. einjährige Katze zeigt sich im Katzenzimmer noch verschüchtert und zieht sich zurück, weshalb wir noch gar nicht so viel zu ihr sagen können. Uns gegenüber ist sie freundlich und genießt auch erste Streicheleinheiten, aber vieles verunsichert sie auch noch, was nicht wirklich verwunderlich ist, nach allem, was in den letzten Wochen passiert ist. Auch wenn sie natürlich glücklicherweise wohlbehalten bei uns angekommen ist, stand mit Kastration und Untersuchungen zunächst viel Unangenehmes auf dem Stundenplan. Wir werden Wilma noch etwas beobachten müssen, um sagen zu können, ob sie Freigang benötigt oder eine Wohnung mit Balkon für sie genug ist und ob sie sich Gesellschaft von Artgenossen wünscht. Sobald sie uns mehr über sich verraten hat, werden wir das hier aktualisieren. Spontane Besuche sind leider nicht möglich. Bei Interesse an Wilma stehen die vermittelnden Kollegen für telefonische Erstgespräche von Montag bis Freitag von 14 – 17 Uhr und Samstag von 13 – 16 Uhr zur Verfügung.
