All the Ryśki are awesome guys, and our Ryszard is the best example of that. Though his beginnings at the animal shelter were tough, today we can already say that with each day he becomes braver in showing who he really is. The new reality initially overwhelmed him a lot, but he has made huge progress. He increasingly seeks contact with people, opens up to volunteers, and shows his curious nature. He still can be cautious about new situations, but instead of retreating, he increasingly chooses observation, contact, and cooperation. Of course, his weakness is a good snack, which effectively helps break the ice. This dog has character and his own opinion. He likes to know what’s going on around him and isn’t afraid to communicate his emotions. In interactions with other dogs, it’s important to have a calm, sensible introduction. He also likes to pretend he’s much bigger than he is, especially when he wants to make an impression on his doggy friends. We’re convinced that in the right home, Ryszard will flourish even more and show how great a companion he can be. Because all the Ryśki are awesome guys – and this one is really special. Wszystkie Ryśki to fajne chłopaki, i nasz Ryszard jest tego najlepszym przykładem. Choć początki w schronisku były dla niego trudne, dziś możemy już powiedzieć, że z każdym dniem coraz odważniej pokazuje, jaki jest naprawdę. Nowa rzeczywistość początkowo bardzo go przytłaczała, jednak zrobił ogromne postępy. Coraz chętniej nawiązuje kontakt z ludźmi, otwiera się na wolontariuszy i pokazuje swoją ciekawską naturę. Nadal bywa ostrożny wobec nowych sytuacji, ale zamiast wycofywać się, coraz częściej wybiera obserwację, kontakt i współpracę. Szczególną słabość ma oczywiście do smaczków, które skutecznie pomagają przełamywać pierwsze lody. To psiak z charakterem i własnym zdaniem. Lubi wiedzieć, co dzieje się wokół niego, i nie boi się komunikować swoich emocji. W kontaktach z innymi psami warto zadbać o spokojne, rozsądne zapoznanie. Zdarza mu się też udawać dużo większego, niż jest w rzeczywistości, szczególnie gdy chce zrobić wrażenie na psich kolegach. Jesteśmy przekonani, że w odpowiednim domu Ryszard rozkwitnie jeszcze bardziej i pokaże, jak wspaniałym jest kompanem.
