ANASTAZIA

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Estimated birth date: August 2024 Brief info: friendly, attentive, people-oriented, adventure-loving, curious, family+, older children+, male dogs(+), female dogs(+) ANASTAZIA is estimated to have been born in August 2024 and was found wandering on the street in late March 2026 at the animal shelter. Upon seeing the shelter's post on Facebook, the owner even contacted them and said he would come to pick up his female dog. However, no one ever showed up, and so the people-oriented female dog ANASTAZIA is still waiting for a new home where she will be loved and welcomed. The lovely ANASTAZIA is a friendly and attentive Fellenase. She observes everything carefully when on the leash outside, but she remains attentive and responds well to the person at the other end of the leash. Of course, she still needs to learn the full Hunde-1×1, but she is young and eager to learn. ANASTAZIA is basically compatible, but meetings with her fellow animals need to be managed a bit, as she can be a bit too enthusiastic with some dogs. She needs to learn to be more reserved. However, it has worked well with the more laid-back (white) Cocos, as you can see in the video. We are now looking for people with solid dog experience who have the time and desire to help ANASTAZIA adapt to a normal daily life, teach her all the important things, and train her accordingly. She will also likely enjoy different activities after her adjustment period. Due to her suspected mixed breed, ANASTAZIA cannot be rehomed to Germany but can only be placed in certain cantons of Switzerland (or in other countries without restrictions, such as Hungary). ANASTAZIA will move to her new home neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and with an EU pet passport. Would you like to give this adventure-loving young pup a new life? We look forward to your message!

About ANASTAZIA

What life with ANASTAZIA looks like

ANASTAZIA is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenretter Ungarn in Pfotenretter.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting ANASTAZIA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ANASTAZIA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenretter Ungarn handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ANASTAZIA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ANASTAZIA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenretter Ungarn will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ANASTAZIA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ANASTAZIA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenretter Ungarn early rather than rehoming privately; they know ANASTAZIA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
