Ursprungsland: Ungarn Am 26.3.2026 kamen sieben aussortierte Hunde von einem Vermehrer ins Tierheim nach Kecskemét, 6 Malteserhunde und eben Barack. Zum Glück muss man sagen, denn so bekommt sie endlich, nach all den Jahren der Ausbeutung, eine Chance, auf ein hundegerechtes Leben mit Familienanschluss. Traurig, dass es immer noch so viele Vermehrer gibt, aber solange die Nachfrage nach günstigen Rassehunden vorhanden ist, wird sich leider auch nichts ändern. Wir drücken Barack fest die Daumen, dass sie ganz bald ihr Ticket in eine glückliche Zukunft lösen kann. Barack durfte in ihrem bisherigen Leben nichts kennenlernen, musste sie doch bis anhin ein sehr isoliertes Leben führen. Vom Charakter her ist sie aber eine ganz bezaubernde und liebe Hündin, einfach etwas schüchtern am Anfang. Mit lieben Worten und etwas Geduld, taut sie aber schnell auf, wenn sie merkt, dass man es gut mit ihr meint. Sie ist so glücklich, dass man sich mit ihr abgibt und ihr Aufmerksamkeit, Zeit und Zuneigung schenkt. Ein ganz neues Lebensgefühl für Barack, welche anfängt, Streicheleinheiten toll zu finden, dass kannte sie einfach nicht. Sie möchte dies nie mehr missen und braucht sehr viel Liebe und Nähe. Natürlich muss weiter mit ihr gearbeitet werden und sie muss Step by Step an die alltäglichen Dinge des Lebens herangeführt werden. Mit ihren Artgenossen versteht sich Barack prima und ein vorhandener, souveräner Zweithund, könnte ihr eine grosse Hilfe sein, sich im neuen Leben einfacher zurechtzufinden. Ihr fehlen Zähne und sie hat beidseitig schwere Patellaluxation. Links Grad III und rechts Grad IV. Im Fall des rechten Beins kann auch eine frühere Epiphysenverletzung vermutet werden. Update vom 18. Juni 2026: Leider ist Barack Herzwurm positiv und deshalb kann in Ungarn für die nächsten 10 Monate während der Slowkilltherapie keine Operationen durchgeführt werden. 23.06.2026: Zweitmeinung/Abklärung durch Dr. Kipfer (Chirurg) in der Schweiz: Die Beine sind stark verkrümmt. Rechts braucht es sogenannte Korrekturosteotomien und evtl. mehrere Operationen. Aufgrund der ausgeprägten Fehlstellung der Gliedmaße sollte zur präoperativen Planung eine CT-Untersuchung durchgeführt. Diese ermöglicht eine genaue Vermessung der knöchernen Deformitäten und die Planung der erforderlichen Korrekturosteotomien. Ziel ist es, die Achsenfehlstellung zu korrigieren und die Voraussetzungen für eine dauerhafte Stabilisierung der Patella zu schaffen. Links ist die Situation einfacher. Wir suchen dringend eine Pflegestelle oder Gnadenplatz. Das Tierheim ist für sie absolut der falsche Ort. Barack ist von den Impfungen her reisefertig.
