Barney werd in de buurt van de shelter van onze rescuer gedumpt en was letterlijk vel over been. Een van de buren van onze rescuer schoot te hulp en zorgde fysiek en mentaal heel goed voor hem. Hij is nu weer in goede conditie en dat niet alleen, ze hebben ook met hem gewerkt. Barney is een kleine middelmaat. Hij is sociaal met andere honden en met katten en loopt al heel er goed aan de riem. Het is een jonge hond met een vrolijke en speelse energie.
