Adopt Biegun- pies do adopcji

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 18 years

Biegun is a medium-sized, black mixed breed dog who has already reached adulthood. He used to live in an apartment with his caregiver. Unfortunately, the owner's health worsened, and after so many years together, Biegun had to leave the home and come to the animal shelter. Now, after 18 years, he starts everything over again. Fortunately, his age has not taken away his joy of life. Biegun still has a lot of energy! He loudly begs for walks and is very happy about going out. He walks nicely on a leash and loves to sniff. It is precisely the walks that are his biggest pleasure. He gets along well with other dogs - currently shares the room with female dog Szeryl and perfectly finds his way in her company. He likes being petted, although he rarely asks for it himself. Biegun is already a retired dog. He feels quite well, but due to his age, he has a supplement for his joints. He also suffers from a runny nose, which is currently being treated. Like any senior, he will need careful care and attention. We are looking for a person who is aware of how to care for an older dog, ready to give him a warm, safe home and a peaceful resting place for the last years of his life. Although Biegun is already 18 years old, you can clearly see from his behavior that he still has many dog things to take care of.

About Biegun- pies do adopcji

What life with Biegun- pies do adopcji looks like

Biegun- pies do adopcji is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy in Poland.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Frequently asked

Adopting Biegun- pies do adopcji, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Biegun- pies do adopcji?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Biegun- pies do adopcji on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Biegun- pies do adopcji if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Biegun- pies do adopcji already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Biegun- pies do adopcji isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Biegun- pies do adopcji and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
