Fallon

Collie · Female · Young · 1 year

06- 08-26 Fallon is such a sweet girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a very happy dog who loves a cuddle and plenty of fuss. Fallon has a lovely, affectionate nature and enjoys spending time with people, making her a joy to be around. Fallon is confident enough that she would be happy to be homed as an only dog, providing her adopters are around most of the time and have plenty of time to spend with her. Although she is great with other dogs and socialises well with them, we don't think she would enjoy sharing her home with another dog and so for this reason she will be looking for a home where she was the only dog.She can live with older, dog-savvy teens, aged 16+ who are sensible and will allow her time to settle in at her own pace. As Fallon has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to be patient as she settles into her new routine and discovers all the joys of family life. She is new to lead walking but would love to continue this training in her new home! She will need an extra secure garden to keep her safe in her new home. Fallon is a truly lovely girl with so much love to give. We hope she soon finds a family who will adore her as much as we do and give her the happy future she deserves. She has a travel document.

About Fallon

What life with Fallon looks like

Fallon is a young adult collie dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fallon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fallon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fallon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fallon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fallon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fallon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fallon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
