Fletcher &#038

Labrador Retriever · Male · Adult · 5 years

Fletcher and Archie These two lovely boys are looking for a home together. They cannot be split. Fletcher is 6 years old and Archer is 5 years old. Both boys are used to a rural life and enjoy walking in the countryside most days. They are well behaved and have been well looked after by their current owner. They pull on the lead a bit but their recall is good and they are never far away when off lead, which they are most of the time. They travel really well in the car. They have lived with older teenagers. Two healthy boys looking for that perfect home with someone living in a rural location. No cats !! Ideally we are looking for a home that is quite rural. The boys will bark when left on their own. Potential adopters will need to be at home mostly as they are not used to being on their own a lot. The boys are in Lincolnshire so please only apply if you are in one of the areas we cover – you will find this information on our website If you think Fletcher and Archie could be right for you and you can provide the perfect retirement home they’re looking for, please contact Joan Falvey () via email with ‘Fletcher & Archie’ in the subject box.

About Fletcher &#038

What life with Fletcher &#038 looks like

Fletcher &#038 is a adult labrador retriever dog waiting at Labrador Lifeline Trust in Tadley.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fletcher &#038, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fletcher &#038?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Labrador Lifeline Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fletcher &#038 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fletcher &#038 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Labrador Lifeline Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fletcher &#038 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fletcher &#038 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Labrador Lifeline Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fletcher &#038 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
