Flump

Mixed Breed Cat · Male

Hello, My name is Flump I am here to find my forever home, hopefully with my brother Tigger. My personality: I am a shy boy but after some time I do come around, I love treats and Lick-e-lix I think this will be the best way for us to become best friends. I haven’t been at Rain for very long so the humans are still getting to know me, please keep a lookout for any updates on me. My ideal home: I would love a quiet calm home, my new owners need to know that it may take me some time to settle in. I would love it if I was adopted with my brother Tigger. Due to my shy nature, I would be happier living with children aged 16+ and no other pets. Access to outdoors: I have never been outdoors, so I would be happy to stay an indoor cat. If you would like to offer me access to the outdoors I’m sure I might have a little adventure. Toileting: I am litter-trained, and I am currently using grit litter. Did you know: Cats have a total of 32 muscles in each of their ears, alone! This allows them to swivel their ears to hone in on an exact noise. All these muscles help cats rotate their ears 180 degrees! My adoption fee is £225 with my brother Tigger.

About Flump

What life with Flump looks like

Flump is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flump, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flump?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flump on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flump if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flump already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flump isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flump and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
