A sporty adventurer is needed for our talkative Ghost! Awooooo! Can you hear me? My name is Ghost and I am a beautiful, energetic Husky from head to toe. As a true Husky, I love to talk. I'll tell you all about my day with my cozy chatter and singing talent! I'm an incredibly active boy who loves to run, play, and explore the world. Sitting still is not for me; I'd rather go on an adventure with you. My own escape-proof fort Because I'm so smart and agile, the caregivers here have also dubbed me Houdini. When I see a fence, I quickly think: "Shall I jump over that?" A garden with a very high and sturdy fence is a must for me, so I always stay safely within bounds with my new family. Living with other dogs and children Outside and in the shelter, I find other dogs quite nice, but I'm a bit picky. I can get along very well with some dogs, but others don't click as well. So if you already have a dog, we need to take a quiet look at Hokazo to see if we can become friends. Because of my enthusiasm and large amount of energy, I'm not suitable for young children. Older teenagers who are used to large, active dogs could be a good match. My thick winter coat To stay as handsome as I am, you do have to like brushing. My beautiful, thick coat needs a good trim at least twice a year to get rid of all the loose hair. Luckily, I don't mind that at all! Gezocht: Een sportieve avonturier voor onze praatgrage Ghost! Awooooo! Hoor je mij al? Mijn naam is Ghost en ik ben een prachtige, energieke Husky van top tot teen. Zoals een echte Husky betaamt, praat ik graag. Ik vertel je met mijn gezellige praatjes en zangtalent precies hoe mijn dag is! Ik ben een ontzettend actieve jongen die dol is op rennen, spelen en de wereld ontdekken. Stilzitten is niks voor mij; ik ga veel liever samen met jou op avontuur. Mijn eigen, ontsnappingsproof fort Omdat ik zo slim en behendig ben, hebben de verzorgers hier mij ook wel omgedoopt tot Houdini. Als ik een hek zie, denk ik al snel: “Zal ik daar eens overheen springen?” Een tuin met een zeer hoog en stevig hekwerk is voor mij dan ook echt een must, zodat ik altijd veilig binnenboord blijf bij mijn nieuwe familie. Samenwonen met andere honden en kinderen Buiten en in de opvang vind ik andere honden best gezellig, maar ik ben wel een beetje kieskeurig. Met sommige honden kan ik het heel goed vinden, met anderen klikt het wat minder. Als je al een hond hebt, moeten we dus eerst bij Hokazo even rustig kijken of we vriendjes kunnen worden. Vanwege mijn enthousiasme en grote portie energie ben ik niet geschikt voor jonge kinderen. Oudere tieners die gewend zijn aan grote, actieve honden zouden wel een goede match kunnen zijn. Mijn dikke winterjas Om zo knap te blijven als ik ben, moet je wel een beetje van borstelen houden. Mijn prachtige, dikke jas heeft namelijk minstens twee keer per jaar een flinke trimbeurt nodig om alle losse haren kwijt te raken. Gelukkig vind ik dat helemaal niet erg!
