Ike had a growth on his gums, which was surgically removed and examined on 12.5.25. Unfortunately, the finding was "malignant." Ike is currently tumor-free, but no one knows for how long. It is our heartfelt wish to give him a few more beautiful months. **We are looking for a garden place for Ike. The rehoming is connected with a dog transport. A house with direct access to its own fenced garden, where he can enjoy sunny hours, would be perfect. He no longer needs much activity or long walks. He should now have people who enjoy his company just as much, who want to spoil him and spend lovely hours with him. Who will give Ike a good place to spend the rest of his life? Who will take it to heart and say, YES! We'll do it! He may come to us! The next transport leaves Portugal on 29.8. Ike should definitely be on it.** Ike comes from the Azores, and we believe he had a home there. A kind animal welfare volunteer saw him at the kill shelter there and rescued him. He was very emaciated at the time, but has since recovered well and may even have a few kilos too many on his ribs. Ike now lives in our partner shelter in Portugal. **Our old boy Ike is a lovable Labbi mix.** He enjoys being close to people and is very easygoing. His greatest joy is the daily feeding rounds – he must have suffered from great hunger before his rescue. Ike is generally well tolerated with other dogs; only when it comes to food does he need to be fed separately from them. We look forward to your inquiry! Ike has been examined by a veterinarian, dewormed, deflead, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and tested for Mediterranean diseases including leishmaniasis, and has an EU pet passport and Traces registration.

Ike hatte eine Masse am Zahnfleisch, die am 12.5.25 operativ entfernt und untersucht wurde – der Befund war leider “bösartig” Ike soll im Moment tumorfrei sein, aber man weiß nicht wie lange – es ist uns eine Herzensangelegenheit, ihm noch ein paar schöne Monate zu ermöglichen. 𝗪𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘇 𝗳ü𝗿 𝗜𝗸𝗲 – 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗴𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘇𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗵𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘇𝗴𝗲𝗯ü𝗵𝗿 Ein Haus mit direktem Zugang zum eigenen, eingezäunten Garten, wo er sonnige Stunden genießen kann, wäre perfekt – er braucht keine große Aktivität und lange Gassirunden mehr. Wer fasst sich ans Herz und sagt, JA! Dass machen wir! Er darf zu uns kommen! Der nächste Transport fährt am 29.8. in Portugal ab – da sollte Ike unbedingt dabei sein Ike kommt von den Azoren und wir denken, dass er dort ein Zuhause hatte. Eine liebe Tierschützerin hat ihn dort in der Tötung gesehen und gerettet. Er war da sehr abgemagert, hat sich jetzt aber gut erholt und vielleicht sogar ein paar Kilo zu viel auf den Rippen. Ike lebt jetzt in unserem Partnertierheim in Portugal. 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗜𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶-𝗠𝗶𝘅. Er genießt es, in der Nähe der Menschen zu sein und ist sehr genügsam, seine größte Freude sind die täglichen Futterrunden – er muss vor seiner Rettung an großen Hunger gelitten haben. Mit anderen Hunden ist Ike generell gut verträglich, nur wenn’s ums Futter geht, muss er getrennt von ihnen gefüttert werden. Wir freuen uns auf eure Anfrage!
