Jacky came to us because Herrchen had to go to the care home and he didn't have a family that could take Jacky in. Jacky is absolutely uncomplicated and gets along well with fellow animals. She feels more comfortable in their company. We can imagine that other animals wouldn't be a problem for her either. She just likes small cozy circles and is happy about any contact with lots of cuddles. The vet check-up showed a previously wonderful blood test, apart from age-related resting phases, Jacky is in top condition. When it comes to food, she is selective, and we found out with Frolic what she likes to eat. Her teeth were also given a general overhaul, so that an extraction to a new home is no longer an issue. She wants to live age-appropriately, either on the ground floor or in a house with an elevator or with the willingness to carry her up the stairs. She is blind but, after getting used to her surroundings, she does well, and objects in the apartment should generally stay in their place. Jacky is house-trained to a small extent and can also be left alone after initial whining. In addition to a permanent home, Jacky is also looking for sponsors, so we can start looking for a foster home… Who would like to sweeten Jacky's last days and spend her golden years with the cozy dog lady?. Jacky kam zu uns, weil Herrchen ins Pflegeheim musste und er keine Familie hatte, die Jacky hätte aufnehmen können. Jacky ist absolut unkompliziert und verträglich mit Artgenossen. Sie fühlt sich wohler in deren Gesellschaft. Wir können uns vorstellen, das auch andere Tiere kein Problem sind. Sie mag nur kleine gemütliche Runden und freut sich über jede Berührung mit reichlich Kuscheleinheiten. Der Tierarztcheck ergab ein bisher wunderbares Blutbild, bis auf altersentsprechende Ruhephasen ist Jacky topfit. Beim Futter zeigt sie sich wählerisch, mit Frolic haben wir rausgefunden, was sie gern verputzt. Die Zähne wurden auch generalüberholt, so das einem Auszug ins neue Zuhause nun nichts mehr im Wege steht. Sie möchte altersgerecht wohnen, ebenerdig oder eben in einem Haus mit Fahrstuhl oder der Bereitschaft, sie die Stufen hochzutragen. Sie sieht nichts mehr, orientiert sich nach Eingewöhnung jedoch gut, Gegenstände in der Wohnung sollte jedoch in aller Regel ihren Platz behalten. Jacky ist bis auf kleine Missgeschicke stubenrein und kann nach anfänglichem Jammern auch allein bleiben. Neben einem Endzuhause sucht Jacky auch Paten, damit wir uns auf die Suche nach einer Pflegestelle machen können… Wer möchte Jackys letzte Zeit versüßen und mit der gemütlichen Hundedame ihren Lebensabend gemeinsam verbringen?
