Adopt Kadet- pies do adopcji

Mixed Breed · Male

Kadet is a small, black, short-haired mixed breed dog. We don't know what caused him to become homeless. We don't even know if he ever had a real home. One day he appeared in one of the Płock neighborhoods. He wouldn't let anyone come near him, he ran away at the sight of a person, avoided cages with wide arcs. He spent many cold nights under the buildings before he was safely caught. He had to learn to cope on his own - and it's evident. Kadet is a shy dog. In the animal shelter he has made great progress - he learned to go out for walks on a leash, gradually gaining confidence, and is getting better at dealing with everyday situations. However, he still fears strangers. With his caregivers, he is not very open either - although it can be seen that he tries and that he is gradually pushing the boundaries of his fear. The barriers he built around himself have not yet been completely destroyed. Normally, he doesn't show aggression towards people. He is reserved, cautious, watchful. He allows being picked up, putting on a collar, and receiving an injection. Showing teeth occurs only when he feels cornered and sees no other way out - it is his last form of defense, not an attack. He gets along well with other dogs. If he were to live with another dog, preliminary meet-and-greet walks would be necessary. A calm, balanced, and brave dog companion could greatly help Kadet - giving him confidence and showing that the world doesn't have to be a threat. For Kadet we are looking for a patient, experienced caregiver who will understand that trust is a process. Someone who will work with him in a home environment, without pressure or haste, allowing him to open up at his own pace. A person who will reward his past experiences and show him that a human can be a source of safety, not fear. Kadet is not a "ready" dog. But for someone who gives him time and heart, he can become the most beautiful story about regained trust. 🙂 Kadet was born around 07/2020. He is castrated, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Kadet to malutki, czarny podpalany, krótkowłosy kundelek. Kogoś, kto w domowych warunkach, bez presji i pośpiechu, będzie z nim pracował i pozwoli mu otwierać się we własnym tempie. Frequently asked

Adopting Kadet- pies do adopcji, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kadet- pies do adopcji?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kadet- pies do adopcji on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kadet- pies do adopcji if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kadet- pies do adopcji already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kadet- pies do adopcji isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Zwierząt Puławy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kadet- pies do adopcji and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
