Kleiner Prinz&Bagira

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Little Prince and Bagira are two special feline siblings whose stories inspire courage. Despite difficult beginnings, they have become lively, affectionate kittens who need each other and can only be rehomed together. Little Prince was found exhausted and with bleeding eyes near a forest, after an operation to close his eyes and intensive care, he is now a happy, loving little tomcat. Blind? Yes. Limited? Not at all. Little Prince loves people, enjoys being held, stroked, and kissed. He handles everyday life, toys, and the litter box with ease. Bagira arrived at the clinic at two months old, emaciated, sick, and nearly condemned to die because the owners couldn't afford the treatment. After a successful operation, he is now healthy, playful, and full of energy. Bagira loves toys, soft blankets, and purrs extensively when cuddled. The two form an unbeatable team: Little Prince accepts any cat, Bagira is initially cautious but quickly becomes a loving companion. They can only be rehomed together and must share a home. Together, they complement each other perfectly – Little Prince provides calm, Bagira brings energy. A secure living space is sufficient – no outdoor access is necessary. What is important is a loving home that gives them attention, play, and security. Little Prince is fully blind, both are FIV & FELV negative, and both are neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and have an EU pet passport. After a positive assessment, those who take in Little Prince and Bagira will welcome two brave, lively heroes who need each other and will conquer a heart and a home together. A heartfelt thank you to Patti and Carmen, who gave the two boys their awesome names and made the first step into a better life possible. As of: 23.10.

Stand: 23.10.2025

About Kleiner Prinz&Bagira

What life with Kleiner Prinz&Bagira looks like

Kleiner Prinz&Bagira is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kleiner Prinz&Bagira, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kleiner Prinz&Bagira?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kleiner Prinz&Bagira on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kleiner Prinz&Bagira if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kleiner Prinz&Bagira already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kleiner Prinz&Bagira isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kleiner Prinz&Bagira and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
