We met Laqui in de "patio suave" in Madrid. Patio Suave is de patio waar de milde energieën samenkomen. In het begin, toen hij toekwam, deed hij af en toe wat "loco" naar de andere honden, maar nu leeft hij zonder problemen tussen de roedel van een 40tal andere podenco's, galgos en andere rassen. Daar word je wel sociaal in. Laqui is zo'n hond waarbij je niet meteen de tong in je gezicht krijgt. Integendeel, deze jongen komt je beleefd "hallo" zeggen. Zo hebben wij het graag. Mits wat aanhalingen en knuffels blijft hij rond je hangen in de hoop op meer. Maar nooit opdringerig. Hij snakt naar die genegenheid en die knuffels. We vonden allemaal dat hij een zeer aangename uitstraling en energie had. Maar hij is zo iemand die niet in de schijnwerpers loopt, dus daarom besloten wij hem uitgebreid in de kijker te zetten.
