Mapache – Gentle Giant Seeks His Home Since June 2025, Mapache, a young male dog, has been waiting in a Spanish animal shelter to finally be seen. This big, wonderful fellow has a heart of gold and longs for closeness, security, and people who can call him their own. Mapache is friendly, balanced, and gets along very well with other dogs. He loves walks, runs nicely on a leash, and enjoys every pat. He also meets cats calmly and composedly. In January 2026, he was allowed to move into a foster family due to strong rainfall. There, he shows himself to be lively, playful, and very cuddly. He begins to trust and relishes the attention of his people wholeheartedly. As he is still young, he is not yet house-trained and does not know the basic commands yet – but he learns quickly and wants to please. For Mapache, we wish a home in the countryside where he can settle down in peace. With patience, love, and clear guidance, he will develop into a loyal companion. Mapache waits for his people – maybe for you?

Mapache – Sanfter Riese sucht sein Zuhause Seit Juni 2025 wartet Mapache, ein junger Rüde, in einem spanischen Tierheim darauf, endlich gesehen zu werden. Der große, wunderschöne Kerl hat ein Herz aus Gold und sehnt sich nach Nähe, Geborgenheit und Menschen, zu denen er gehören darf. Mapache ist freundlich, ausgeglichen und versteht sich sehr gut mit anderen Hunden. Spaziergänge liebt er sehr, läuft brav an der Leine und genießt jede Streicheleinheit. Auch Katzen begegnet er ruhig und gelassen. Im Januar 2026 durfte er aufgrund starker Regenfälle in eine Pflegefamilie ziehen. Dort zeigt er sich lebensfroh, verspielt und sehr verschmust. Er beginnt, Vertrauen zu fassen, und genießt die Aufmerksamkeit seiner Menschen in vollen Zügen. Da er noch jung ist, ist er noch nicht stubenrein und kennt die Grundkommandos noch nicht – lernt aber schnell und möchte gefallen. Für Mapache wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause im ländlichen Raum, in dem er in Ruhe ankommen darf. Mit Geduld, Liebe und klarer Führung wird er sich zu einem treuen, loyalen Begleiter entwickeln.
